Frequently Asked Questions
#1 Why has Trinity grown? We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work here. For more information about our growth read OUR STORY. #2 How do I find out what's going on at Trinity? If you read the Sunday-service bulletin announcements and the monthly newsletters, you'll keep up with almost everything that's happening at Trinity. (Another great way, of course, is to explore the website, just like you're doing now!) #3 Trinity seems like a large building. How can I connect with people? Trinity has many members - but this allows us to offer a great many programs. And, we can't recommend more highly that you involve yourself in a LIFE GROUP (look up the page). It's amazing how fast our large church seems to shrink when you get to know your Bible study group and the other volunteers in your area of ministry. #4 How do I get involved with the praise team or other musical groups? Trinity's music ministry always welcomes interested peoples with talent and enthusiasm. For more information on joining these ministries contact us through the web page or talk to our music minister, Bridget, after worship. #5 How do I find a Sunday School class or Bible Study? Trinity offers a dynamic Sunday School class for adults. The class meets in the social room on Sunday mornings. Also, a class for mature adults is in the chapel. On Tuesday evening, our weekday program K.O.O.L. (Kids of Our Lord) offers a family night for children and adults. A Bible Study for the adults is always occurring in the church on Tuesday evening. #6 What do the Disciples of Christ believe? Disciples of Christ profess the historic Christian faith. We encourage you to read more at the website of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)-or to attend our worship services or other programs and ask lots of questions. Go ahead! Be nosy! #7 How do I get involved at Trinity? Opportunities for involvement - from small groups and volunteer opportunities to missions and music - are open to anyone who wants to participate, members and visitors alike. A great way to get involved is to visit the welcome center outside the Sanctuary where people are on hand to greet you and help you find a way to get connected. Immediate needs are printed each week in our worship bulletin announcements. #8 What is expected of members? Trinity expects the following of its members:
#9 How can I join Trinity? If you are considering membership at the Trinity United Christian Church, the first step is to attend Trinity 101, where you'll learn more about the church, get to know our pastors, and staff, and review expectations regarding membership. #10 When are Trinity's weekly worship services? We offer multiple services each weekend. The Worship Service page has all the details. |
